About 45% of the farm consists of flatter valley floor. Here the vegetation could best be described as False Karoo Thornveld. This vegetation consists of sweetveld grasses and acacia lined gullies.
The remaining +- 30% consists of mountain slopes and can be described as Karoo Escarpment Grassland. Here the valleys are bushed. And the sweet grass covered hill sides are studded with Acacia karoo thorn trees, and Sweet Resin Bush (Euryops multifidus) predominantly.
For both the hill sides and valley floor, the carrying capacity is estimated to be at 10Ha per LSU, giving the property an SCC of 262 LSU.
